Concert des choeurs basques Itsasoa

On this occasion, the Ch?ur Itsasoa (a mixed ensemble of 60 choristers) is delighted to present its program of traditional, sacred and contemporary songs from the rich musical and cultural heritage of the Basque Country. ITSASOA sings of love, freedom, nature, the sea, life in the fields, and the rich history of the Basque country, where emotion and quality go hand in hand.
Most of the works are harmonized as closely as possible to their original writing, by renowned composers such as Francisco de Madina, Pablo Sorozabal and Josu Elberdin, whom the Ch?ur Itsasoa strives to promote, bringing out the emotion of Basque choral singing.
The choristers, divided into 4 to 8 sections, have been directed by Frédéric Sorhaitz since 2002.
