Concert Festiorgues : mon orgue est un orchestre avec Nathan LAUBE

For the first time, FestiOrgues will welcome one of the most famous American organists: Nathan LAUBE. This young associate professor of organ at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, is an international consultant in organ studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK.
His recital will focus on the figure of Franz Liszt, playing two of his iconic piano works in their organ versions, expressing their magnificent underlying orchestral dimension. We will also discover a "pastorale" by Bordeaux composer Jean Roger-Ducasse. The recital opens with a chorale by J. S. Bach, making the organ sound like an orchestra in all its diversity, under the baton of an imaginative conductor!
