Festival andalou 2024 : Spectacle Los Bailes robados

Dancer and choreographer David Coria, an emblematic figure of the 21st-century flamenco avant-garde, takes his inspiration from a strange phenomenon dating back to the 16th century, when hundreds of people were seized by uncontrollable impulses, and began dancing to exhaustion, even death. What if this spontaneous group dance, whose causes and motives are still unclear, was in fact simply an expression of what they had no right to shout? Surrounded by five exceptional dancers and three musicians, David Coria explores the powerful link between dance and freedom.
